These terms cover your use of the Café Galang website, our SMS program and pickup orders placed by phone or text. "We", "us" and "our" mean Café Galang, 10947 Westminster Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92843. If you don't agree with something here, the simplest option is not to use the website or the SMS program. You can still come in for coffee.

1. Age restriction

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this website, to opt in to our SMS program, and to purchase or play any California Lottery product, including KENO and scratchers, at our café. We may ask for valid photo ID before selling lottery tickets or paying a prize.

2. SMS program description

Café Galang SMS Updates is an optional text messaging program. When you opt in, you agree to receive the following types of messages from Café Galang at the mobile number you provided:

• Conversational replies to questions or messages you send us.
• Pickup order confirmations and ready-for-pickup notices.
• Reminders about large or pre-arranged orders.
• Occasional promotions, specials and new menu announcements, no more than 4 per month.
• Customer service and account notifications related to a request you made.

Message frequency varies. Consent to receive SMS is not required to buy anything from us. We will never sell or share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier will be charged according to your plan. Check with your carrier if you're not sure what your plan includes.

5. Carrier liability disclaimer

Wireless carriers, including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages depends on your carrier's network and we can't guarantee that every message will arrive, or arrive on time.

8. Pickup orders and cancellation policy

Phone and text orders are prepared for pickup at the café. Please read this part, it's the one people miss.

• Regular orders (under 10 items) can be cancelled free of charge by calling us before we start preparing them. Once an order is made, it's yours and payment is due at pickup.
• Large orders (10 or more sandwiches, or any catering tray) need at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the pickup time may be charged 50% of the order total to cover ingredients already prepared.
• No-shows: orders not picked up within 2 hours of the agreed time may be discarded and, for large orders, charged in full.
• Our mistakes: if we get an order wrong, tell us at the counter or call the same day and we'll remake it or refund it. No arguments.

Menu prices on this website are a guide and may differ from the board in the café. The price at the counter at the time of pickup is the price you pay. Lottery tickets are not refundable or exchangeable once printed, per California Lottery rules.

9. Website use, content and limitation of liability

The content on this website, including text, photos and the Café Galang logo, belongs to us and may not be copied or reused without permission. The website is provided "as is". We try to keep hours, prices and menu items accurate but we don't guarantee that every detail is current. To the extent permitted by law, Café Galang is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or the SMS program.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the website or SMS program after a change, you accept the new terms.
